Can I switch to fortnightly lessons?

Yes – fortnightly lessons are available for students having one-to-one lessons outside school. Weekly lessons remain the strongest option for most learners, as they help build steady progress, motivation, and confidence from one week to the next. Fortnightly lessons can work well for students around Grade 5 level and above, particularly when they’re able to manage their practice independently.

If you’d like to move from weekly to fortnightly lessons at the start of a term, please let us know by the end of the previous half term.

Do children continue Voyagers from one term to the next?

Voyagers is designed as a one-term course. Across the term, children explore different instruments, build core musicianship skills, and finish the course prepared and excited to begin instrument lessons.

After completing Voyagers, most children move on to the next step in their musical journey, choosing a specific instrument and learning in small groups in our Instrument Starters classes, or in one-to-one or paired lessons.
